What is Counselling?
Counselling or therapy is a space for you to talk through any issues that may have come in your life. You may be feeling stuck in a job or relationship and unable to make sense of how you're truly feeling in order to make a decision. Speaking open and honestly about what is really going on for you can allow you to see things from another perspective and hopefully make space to see things a little more clearly.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I trained integratively which means my foundation of counselling is Person Centred Therapy and I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

This allows me to work with my clients in a person centred way, allowing them to lead the sessions and bring whatever feels important to them, but also means that I can integrate some solution focused strategies into our sessions, if it is appropriate to do so.

I don't believe that there is a one size fits all approach to counselling and therefore I work with each client on an individual basis.
